TWO Rich men in Hell!!!
TWO rich men in eternity:
the Word of our Lord Jesus here about the Rich man and Lazarus is a grave warning of going into eternity being our own god and loving money.
earlier in the chapter The Lord spoke of the the servant who had wasted His Lord's goods.
what we do with" our "money will effect our forever's!!!!!my God how i have failed so much in this way.Jesus...
in hell the rich man met another rich man.Abraham.but he was rich and he was saved!!!!!he feared, loved and served Jehovah all his life....and was in Paradise.
Lazarus was with father Abraham in Paradise poor as sin in this evil world but rich towards God!!!!
the Word is amazing.

God'sWord is truely amazing billy!
"And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God." (Matt. 19:24 ; Mark 10:25 ; Luke 18:25).
Wealth is consistently presented as problematic. I suspect the modern notion owes less to the Bible than to the Puritan notion that success in economic life was a sign of God's blessing. The message was viewed by the disciples as pretty bleak. In Matthew 19:25, just after Jesus uses the comparison — the disciples respond, "Then who can be saved?" "By human power, it is impossible," says Jesus. Then he offers a glimmer of hope: "With God, anything is possible." Even the salvation of the rich. As a miracle.
On the other hand, it would be equally dangerous to argue "I'm poor, so I'm okay." The words of Jesus aren't intended to give anybody a false sense of security.
Apart from the mercy of God, we're all done for.

Galatians 4: 16, Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?
Re: TWO Rich men in Hell!!!
Actually wealth is consistently presented as the blessing that it is. wealth and riches come from God for the believer and thats all through the Bible.
Whats presented as problematic is the love of money, which is on display with the poor just as much as with the rich.

Re: TWO Rich men in Hell!!!
Have'nt you two read about Abraham and his riches, wealth, lands, respect, honour and righteousness etc etc
Galations. 3:13
Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written. Cursed is every one one that hangs on a tree:
v:14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles, through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
v:29 And if you be Christ's then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
You will notice Paul said "the blessing (MIGHT) come ??? the only way it will not come is unbelief on the part of the Gentiles.... thats us, we either believe we have it or not.

the text says the blessing for us non Jews, Goyim ,the nations,Gentiles,we heathens who had no hope without God in the world strangers from the Covenants of promise ,dead in trespasses and sins ,our understanding darkened past feeling all that....was exchanged by the Lord our God at the Cross....
so we might receive the Promise of Spirit by faith.see Eph 1:13.the Spirit is what was promised.the Holy Ghost!!!!theres no salvation without getting the Holy Ghost!!!!
hes talking about them receiving true salvation and the Holy Ghost.
we have our priorities wrong.citizens of ...heaven????yeah but we all of us want money and lots of it.im including myself... .then ill be ok to serve God .help others.give to missions tithe=80%%% of born again church people do not tithe!!!!we are fooling the man in the mirror our real problem...
real true full salvation is the greatest most priceless Holy Gift any person in any age could ever receive from the Lord.
