The Nicene Creed of 325 AD CHANGED History forever

Postby branham1965 » Tue Oct 10, 2017 8:12 am

Bishop Arius and Bishop Athanasius were bitter rivals .They had different views on the Father and the Son.

In Bishop Eusebius' book Church History(the first one) he embraced Arius position then the other then came back.My point is this was a major issue.

Arius was poisoned to death by Athanasius' followers.

This was dealt with by a small portion of the Bishops in the known world in Nicea led by Athanasius in 325 AD.

My point is if you could write a brief creed what would it be???

Some claim that neither Athanasius nor Arius nor the supposed bishops of the known world were true Christians.

THE KEYS OF HELL AND OF DEATH
And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. And He laid His right hand upon me, saying unto me, "Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am He that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of Hell and of Death."

That would be impossible.

Bishop Eusebius wrote the first church history.

Doctrines today are from that council in 325 and in 381 in Chalcedon. It influenced Church history forever.

Impossible or not, that is the stance of some.

They reject anything related to the RCC.

The Church in the first 3 centuries was the primitive ancient order.

People show their bigotry and ignorance getting on those early Christians.

The fourth century was in the 300's.

I don't see how you could refer to the Councils of 325 and 381 as "the primitive ancient order." Upon what do you base your conclusion?

The Ancient Order is the Early Church of The Lord Jesus Christ .

The Councils were for commonality of doctrine and so forth.

My creed would be to not pay mind to creeds of men and stick with the order that Jesus set forth by the Holy Spirit.
